InTouch Pediatrics Services

Our Pediatric services & specialties are the following, but not limited to the list below.

Sick visits during the weekdays are by appointment only. If you think your child is sick, please call our offices as soon as possible to reserve an appointment. We will make every attempt to make sure that he/she will be seen the same day.

Don’t fall behind on your child’s routine care — a minor issue today could become a major problem tomorrow.

In today’s world, it’s more important than ever to make sure your child regularly visits the doctor – not just when they are sick, but also when they are well.

Well-child visits allow your pediatrician to examine your child holistically, assess their physical and emotional needs, support their growth and development, and intervene quickly if any issues arise.

What are the ages for well-child visits?

A standard well child schedule spans from infancy through adolescence, and includes checkups at the following ages:

  • In your baby’s first year: Newborn visit (3-5 days after birth), at 1 month old, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, and at 12 months
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 2 years
  • 2½ years
  • 3 years
  • 4 years
  • annually through the age of 21

We are a practice that strongly encourages patients to keep up-to-date with the Vaccine Schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are local and national leaders in keeping our children, our families, and our communities safe from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Please see our vaccine policy statement for more information

Prenatal visits are a very important way to allow general pediatricians to establish a supportive and trusting relationship with the family, gather basic information, and offer information and advice regarding the infant.  The visit may also identify psychosocial risks early and high-risk conditions that may require special care. Please call our office to schedule your consultation with our provider.

Your child’s next pediatric visit could take place in your home.

Is your child struggling in school? We offer a series of cost effective and time efficient testing that screens for ADHD and other limited conditions. The objective data allow us to diagnose and rule out ADHD with greater confidence and optimize treatment objectively. The evaluation is conducted at our office or online and the results are analyzed by our board certified physician.

Our practice uses QbTest, one of the widest FDA cleared medical device that provides objective data for diagnosing and treating ADHD for patients ages 6-60. Our practice uses QbTest to increase safety, improve the quality of care we can provide our patients, enhance our assessment visits for initial evaluation of ADHD symptoms and to help measure how our patients are responding to treatment that has been prescribed by their provider.

We encourage all children to participate in sports when possible. To ensure safe participation during practice and competition, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) encourages  youth to receive a preparticipation physical evaluation (sport physical) prior to participation in sports.

We advise that you steer clear of mass screenings done at school or a pharmacy clinic where the medical record and immunizations may not be available for the best care.

We offer comprehensive asthma diagnosis and treatment. We have a spirometer on site that helps us to understand how well your child’s lungs work. This test is used in the evaluation of asthma and chronic cough. While some forms of asthma are hereditary, there are external factors which may increase the likelihood of developing this chronic condition. Our board certified physician works closely with patients when diagnosing asthma conditions, and develops individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.

We manage children with complex and chronic medical problems such as asthma, allergies, eczema, obesity, migraines, ADHD, and prematurity.

We’re committed to helping children and families make healthy choices in their lives. InTouch Pediatrics redefining how a pediatric practice can promote both nutrition and fitness.
