Sick visits during the weekdays are by appointment only. If you think your child is sick, please call our offices as soon as possible to reserve an appointment. We will make every attempt to make sure that he/she will be seen the same day.

In today’s world, it’s more important than ever to make sure your child regularly visits the doctor – not just when they are sick, but also when they are well.
Well-child visits allow your pediatrician to examine your child holistically, assess their physical and emotional needs, support their growth and development, and intervene quickly if any issues arise.
What are the ages for well-child visits?
A standard well child schedule spans from infancy through adolescence, and includes checkups at the following ages:
- In your baby’s first year: Newborn visit (3-5 days after birth), at 1 month old, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, and at 12 months
- 15 months
- 18 months
- 2 years
- 2½ years
- 3 years
- 4 years
- annually through the age of 21
We are a practice that strongly encourages patients to keep up-to-date with the Vaccine Schedule published by the Centers for Disease Control and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We are local and national leaders in keeping our children, our families, and our communities safe from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Prenatal visits are a very important way to allow general pediatricians to establish a supportive and trusting relationship with the family, gather basic information, and offer information and advice regarding the infant. The visit may also identify psychosocial risks early and high-risk conditions that may require special care. Please call our office to schedule your consultation with our provider.

Dr. Willingham is passionate and dedicated to pediatric health in the medical home. So for your convenience, we are offering telemedicine visits whenever possible, even on weekends and holidays.
Please note that if you ask to speak to a provider in our office regarding medical concerns, then it may be converted to a telemedicine appointment.

Does your child struggle with controlling their emotions? Your child could have a mental health, emotional/behavioral disorder or just be experiencing difficulty adjusting. We offer psychological evaluation and management for uncomplicated ADHD, depression and anxiety. Any complicated cases will be referred to a psychiatrist for further management.

Is your child struggling in school? We offer a series of cost effective and time efficient testing that screens for ADHD and other limited conditions. The objective data allow us to diagnose and rule out ADHD with greater confidence and optimize treatment objectively. The evaluation is conducted at our office or online and the results are analyzed by our board certified physician.
Our practice uses QbTest, one of the widest FDA cleared medical device that provides objective data for diagnosing and treating ADHD for patients ages 6-60. Our practice uses QbTest to increase safety, improve the quality of care we can provide our patients, enhance our assessment visits for initial evaluation of ADHD symptoms and to help measure how our patients are responding to treatment that has been prescribed by their provider.
Provide education, support, and physical and mental health care to children and families in all stages of the adoption process
We encourage all children to participate in sports when possible. To ensure safe participation during practice and competition, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) encourages youth to receive a preparticipation physical evaluation (sport physical) prior to participation in sports.
We advise that you steer clear of mass screenings done at school or a pharmacy clinic where the medical record and immunizations may not be available for the best care.
We offer comprehensive asthma diagnosis and treatment. We have a spirometer on site that helps us to understand how well your child’s lungs work. This test is used in the evaluation of asthma and chronic cough. While some forms of asthma are hereditary, there are external factors which may increase the likelihood of developing this chronic condition. Our board certified physician works closely with patients when diagnosing asthma conditions, and develops individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.
We manage children with complex and chronic medical problems such as asthma, allergies, eczema, obesity, migraines, ADHD, and prematurity.

Our physician will walk you through a customized action plan including one or more sleep techniques. If you’re cranky, tired all the time, and think that ten consecutive hours of sleep for you and your baby sound absolutely inconceivable, we can help. At InTouch Pediatrics, we have an incredible track record of success in helping parents get more rest, better sleep, and quiet, happy nights for their children.
InTouch Pediatrics provides medical care for patients through age 21 years. Our goal is to serve as a comprehensive medical home for your teenagers and young adults through college. Some of the services that are available to them are:
Physicals for Summer Camp, Sports, and College Entrance forms.
Immunization
Our office provides many important vaccinations to our older patients such as TdaP, Meningitis, and HPV.
Sexual Health
InTouch Pediatrics providers are available to help manage and counsel our patients with issues pertaining to their sexual health. We will protect their privacy as outlined by federal and state law. We are able to perform full pelvic examinations in our office, if medically indicated. We are also comfortable with managing many contraceptive needs of our adolescent females. We offer family planning consults if requested. Should these situations become more in-depth or complicated, you may be referred to appropriate gynecological services. Our practice is able to do limited screenings and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases in both males and females.
